Dr. Brian Collins, PT, DPT, CMFA, DIN

Physical Therapist

I am from Fort Walton Beach, FL. I’m married with 3 kids, a girl and 2 boys. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, UT. I am currently serving in the U.S. Army National Guard, and previous served 3 years with the U.S. Army Reserves, and 10 years with the U.S. Army on active duty.

I have been practicing as a physical therapist for over 5 years. I have attained certifications in the pelvic health rehabilitation, clinical management of the fitness athlete, myofascial treatment and taping, dry needling, and spinal manipulation.

My core values are my family and my drive to empower people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence so they can manage their life’s physical stresses and barriers.

“Consistency is the key to success.”

I want to help patients address pain in the abdominal, pelvic, vulvar, vaginal, rectal, and spinal regions; pain in the glutes, hips, shoulders, arms, and legs; as well as issues like incontinence and constipation.

I specialize in treating pelvic related conditions, sports, fitness, tactical, and auto accident related injuries, and acute and chronic pain in all regions of the body.

Conditions I enjoy treating include all pelvic-related conditions, as well as pain and mobility limitations in any region of the body.

I like that RyseUP Rehab empowers its providers with all the tools and professional growth opportunities necessary to achieve optimal outcomes for their patients.

“Doctor Brian Collins’s expertise is amazing! He has completely healed my C-section belly and pelvic floor. Before going to RyseUp, I was completely numb around my belly experienced frequent pain around my pelvic area. Not only did he help me strengthen my muscle with pelvic floor exercises, but he was willing to try fairly unique – dry needling. He hooked up electrodes to the needles and was able to place them around the C-section scar as well as my pelvic area to restore complete feeling again so I can enjoy life as well as intimacy with my husband. He also helped work out kinks in my back, hips, neck, and shoulders with chiropractic care so I can have a full body healing.

I would pay a high sum for a broken down care, why not my broken down body after pregnancy and C-section? One thing I learned from this experience is that my body matters. It is well worth paying for! And, it was much cheaper for me than a big car repair. Dr. Collins values your body too and will take the time and effort to help you!

A side note – Dr. Collins helped me learn breathing exercises which took away much of my anxiety, as well as healing my poor muscle strength in my lungs, back, and legs though exercises. My circulation has also improved and my heart is doing better as well with the exercises. My body overall just feels better and ready to do life again! And all of that within an 8 week period, 2 times a week. I even felt better and stronger after a couple weeks.

Dr. Collins is willing to branch out with healing anything ailing the body structure and muscles for anyone. My husband will be seeing him for strengthening his knee soon to avoid knee surgery as well.”

” After seeing several physical therapists and even considering surgery, I decided to give PT one last try – and I’m so glad I did. From my very first session, I knew this experience would be different. Dr. Collins was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also truly invested in my recovery. His confidence in my healing journey helped restore my own. What stood out most was how each session was thoughtfully customized to my progress, rather than following a one-size-fits-all plan. His personalized approach made all the difference as well as his holistic focus! Thank you!”

“I have a testimony of pelvic PT! Dr. Collins has been so so helpful with postpartum recovery. I started at just 2 weeks postpartum and by 8 weeks out I was hitting lifetime PR weights and feeling strong and healthy again. My first postpartum it took me months to get to where he helped me get in just a few weeks.”
